Baltimore Children and Youth Fund Vice Chair Lisa Molock raised important questions to Mayor Brandon M. Scott regarding the protection of our children and youth during last month’s Town Hall Meeting at The University of Baltimore School of Law. Ms. Molock emphasized that the Baltimore Children & Youth Fund is dedicated to being part of the solution to ending youth violence in the city. She proposed the formation of a monthly cross-functional committee on youth violence aimed at developing strategies to address this pressing issue.
Lisa also expressed BCYF’s commitment to supporting Mayor Scott’s comprehensive approach by replicating and expanding successful programs, with a specific focus on reducing youth gun violence in Baltimore City.
