The VLP’s mission is to promote literacy, cultural awareness, and lifelong learning through access for all ages to information, resources, and educational programs. LINK After School will serve 100 pre-K through 6th graders; LINK Summer serves 100 pre-K through 6th graders; LINK Leaders Summer, recently reinvented by and for older youth, serves 25 students in grades 7-10. There is always a LINK wait list.

LINK has a strong emphasis on social-emotional learning and character education, helping students connect with their local and global community and see themselves as contributing members. Field trips, dynamic enrichment partners, and college visits open minds and create paths to opportunity.
