Project Description: To combat the challenges disconnected youth experience, Project I CAN connects youth to case management, peer support, and a paid internship at the training partner site, CUPs Coffeehouse. Interns work fifteen hours per week while participating in soft and hard skills workshops, occupational skill-building, and certification training. Participants complete the program with one year of paid job experience and the life skills and supports necessary to pursue and maintain employment and climb the career ladder. Youth also design and lead community projects, becoming engaged community leaders.

Project I CAN will provide a one-year life skills development and work readiness program, coupled with wrap-around barrier removal supports, an immediate paid internship at CUPs Coffeehouse, and an opportunity to earn culinary/retail certifications to 20 disconnected youth ages 16-24
