YOUTH AS RESOURCES (YAR), BALTIMORE’S YOUTH-LED GRANT MAKING ORGANIZATION HAS GRANTS AVAILABLE FOR YOUTH-LED
COMMUNITY ORGANIZING PROJECTS
YAR considers youth designed initiatives where young people up to 23 years old use their power to organize to make lasting change around important issues including: school district policies, police accountability, system and institutional change, youth leadership and community control.
Grants range from $500 - $3,500. Applicants are required to attend one of the two workshops and must be represented by one or two youth and no more than one optional adult.
Application deadline is Monday, April 20th by 5:00 p.m. Registration is required, and workshops may fill up. To register for a workshop and/or for more information, please call (410) 576-9551 x1 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
