Logo use

Use the BCYF logo on all marketing materials related to the organization, including print media, social media, and digital media.

 

General guidelines for use of the BCYF logo:

  • Do not modify or alter the logo
  • Do not stretch or distort the logo
  • Do not change the colors of the logo or add a filter to the logo

 

Image Files (.png)

Share your events and programs on BCYF’s social media platforms and newsletter!

BCYF grantee organizations and individuals are welcome to post programs and events to BCYF’s marketing platforms by submitting content to this submission Form. Once approved the events will appear on BCYF’s social media and newsletters.

The best way to share your photographs and videos with BCYF is through this submission form

Specifications:

Photos

  • File format: .jpg or .png. (We cannot accept .gif or .tif files.)
  • Minimum file size: 900 x 1400 pixels at 300 dpi

Videos

  • File format: .mov, .mp4 or .m4v
  • Maximum file size: 30 second duration and up to 1.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second

Caption Requirements:

  • Name of organization
  • Name of event, title(s) of artwork or production pictured
  • If photo or video must be credited, photographer’s name
  • Description for each image not to exceed 25 words in length
  • Provide alt-text (click here for Cooper Hewitt’s guidelines)

Invite BCYF

Please invite BCYF Staff and Board Members to your events and to visit your programs. We would love to connect with you in this way and will make every effort to be there. Please use this submission form to invite us to your event.

Required Acknowledgment of BCYF Grants

Acknowledgment of BCYF should be displayed in all materials and announcements for your funded project.

 

If receiving support, BCYF acknowledgment must be included on all print materials, announcements, videos, reports, presentations, and press releases.

  • BCYF logo is required
  • Text meets minimum language requirements.
    • “This [performance, project, event, organization, etc.] is supported in part by the Baltimore Children & Youth Fund (bcyfund.org)” or;
    • “Thank you BCYF for supporting [performance, project, event, organization, etc.]! To discover more about the Baltimore Children & Youth Fund and how they impact Baltimore City, visit bcyfund.org.”

  • Include a hyperlink to the BCYF website (bcyfund.org).

 

Social Media

  • When posting on social media, include the BCYF tag (@bcyfund) on all social media posts related to the organization.
  • For program or project grants, include one social media post (on any preferred platform) that includes the specified language above and tag BCYF.
  • For general operating support, include one social media post per month (on any preferred platform) that includes the specified language above and tag BCYF.
  • To find BCYF on social media: Search @bcyfund on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

Acknowledgment of BCYF must be made verbally at any special events, oral presentations, radio or television interviews, and public meetings.

  • “This [performance, project, event, organization, etc.] is supported in part by the Baltimore Children & Youth Fund. Visit them at bcyfund.org.”
