Baltimore Children & Youth Fund Commits $5.5 Million to Support City Nonprofits and Create New Opportunities for Young People
The Baltimore Children & Youth Fund has adopted an interim funding strategy for 2021 that devotes major resources to strengthen the nonprofit landscape in Baltimore and supports proven strategies that provide work and learning opportunities to young people.
The Baltimore Children & Youth Fund is hosting a series of virtual programs to highlight local community programs for Baltimore youth.
As envisioned by the legislation establishing the youth fund, BCYF is intended to act as its own entity and assume responsibility for the fund’s activities in July 2020 – succeeding Associated Black Charities, which has been administering the fund.
